Colton Blake, real name Leon White, is 34 and a border-crosser between two worlds: the campfire country of his childhood and the beat-storms of big EDM stages. Raised on his parents' records, slide guitars and honest stories were in his blood from an early age — in the White household music was never background noise, it was the family language.
But there was also that other longing: the thunder of the bass, thousands of hands in the floodlights, that one drop that makes an entire field tremble. As a passionate festival-goer he eventually asked himself: why not both? So Colton Blake began to blend calm and storm — warm country roots with the euphoria of electronic anthems. His great idol Avicii showed him that exactly this combination can move millions.
At heart, though, Colton Blake is a romantic: he loves summer nights by the campfire, the moment when the sparks rise into the starry sky and a single chord says it all. That feeling is what he pours into his tracks — songs that sound like freedom, wanderlust and endless nights, somewhere between mainstage and moonlight.
